Crappie
Angling prospects for Crappie are better than average, especially for large fish. Crappie from the strong 2001 year class are now over 11" long and will provide good opportunities for large fish. Average year classes produced in 2002 and 2003 will provide fair numbers of 9-10 inch fish as well. As usual, the best crappie fishing will likely be in the west end of Vermilion. mn-DNR
