Anglers can expect fair bluegill fishing this year. Strong year classes of bluegill were produced in 2002 and 2005. West Vermilion will be your best bet for bluegill fishing, anglers may catch more small fish from the 2002 year class. There are large fish available to anglers from strong year classes produced in 1997 and1998, although fish from these older year classes are not nearly as abundant as they were a few years ago. mn-DNR
